Season 5. "Meridian".
|
| Synopsis: |
I haven't written a poem
for 14 years. I have no idea what constitutes a good poem, only
when the words flow and are right. "Meridian" inspired me to
write this. It's taken me from January until now to be able to
share this with you at the JD_Divas site.

I have no centre
No
faith
No
choice
No
chance
Tell them
You'll never make the leap
Never
reach
I
know that now
It's
time
Jack?
Not my choice or yours
You
can't take me on trust
You
can't give me up
I
can't go on
Please
My fault. Always
Can't
leave it alone
Can't
leave you
Have
to move on
Let me go
I can do more, be more
Give.
It's not about blame
It's
not about me
But
that, you know
Tell them
At the core, I failed
It
isn't fair, but it's right
I
just feel - without me
You
can be more
Jack?
It's not an ending, Jack
Not
a choice
My
choice…is you
Always
and only
Please
I failed, I'm not fine
And
that's the truth
I
cost too much
To
be worth so little
Let me go
What you need, I need
Two
halves of a whole
No
life without you
No
centre without me
Tell them to stop
It's hard, love. I know
Respectfully,
